I've been creating images for years for all the main national newspapers in Britain, although Landscape Photography only became a passion when I moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue acting. Climbing around the Blue Ridge Mountains and experiencing the incredible nature there rekindled the passion to create images away from news photography.
In fact, if you had told me in the 90s I would enjoy nothing more than climbing a mountain to get the perfect sunset shot before the light fades, I would never have believed you.
Everything changed when I discovered Instagram and the chance to tell a good story behind the image. Developing the popular @photosofbritain account, whilst living in America, it kept me connected to my home.
Although I'm currently back in Britain, my ties to America continue and will be creating more images from the Pacific Northwest in the coming year.
